"Legacy and Values" in Depth

The "Legacy and Values" hoodie embodies everything the brand was founded on and stands for. Starting on the front is the classic logo with the initials GR followed by a globe. My father Byron Grandy-Richardson who has since passed nickname was "GR" and followed by the globe for the worldwide. The logo represents how the goal of the brand is to keep his name alive through my passion for clothes. On the back is the values the brand stands on and endorses as the "grandy lifestyle." Authenticity is what we hold as a strong value in a world that seems to lack it and in the age of social media when one can easily put up a facade. Integrity was always told to me by my mother as all that we got in this world. It is essential that your integrity is good as that is what you will be judged by. Passion is an essential value held by us at grandyworldwide. Your life should be lived full of passion and purpose. Everyone has a purpose, so it's your job to figure it out and act upon it. Love is the strongest force and power in this world. The power of love is unmatched,  so live a life that operates out of the power of love. Lastly inspire. Be an inspiration to someone everyday or be that positive example and source of hope one can look up to. Following the values is the grandyworldwide logo spelled out that will be featured in the next collection "Rise of the Dark Horse." The globe with cities listed on it brings the legacy part of the hoodie to light. The brand was started in Raleigh, NC in 2020. My father was born in Washington D.C. back in 1976. He died in Okinawa, Japan in 2006. The purpose of the brand is to push these very values and the legacy of father and the life he lived worldwide and dub it the "grandy lifestyle." What better way to combine my love of fashion and clothes with values and create the classic "Legacy and Values" hoodie that embodies everything the brand embodies and stands for. Combining streetwear and fly sh!t with real values and morals fully embodying authenticity. This is not a brand but a community who upholds these values resulting in a "grandy lifestyle."
